Air France declared in 4th June, since global oil price has been drifted back for a long time, so Air France will reduce bunker surcharge which flight from next day flight from France and Holland.
According new policy, from 5th flight from France and Holland and duration time over 9 hours all are reduce 14 Euro, long distance flight reduce 10 euro, medium-haul and short-haul flight reduce 4 euro and 2 euro. Air France explains, global oil price has been declined for a long time, we keep our last July made promise to reduce bunker surcharge. This July Air France raise bunker surcharge after global oil price up to 147.27 dollars per barrel, and promise will adjust price back to before if oil price stable around 125 dollars.
Soared oil price bring air transport enterprise a heavy pressure, according international air transport association's report, calculated by 103 dollars low price, this year Air France would deficit 5.2 billion dollars.
